| Chill out, yknow?
Music Video of the Day :: Plain White T's / 1, 2, 3, 4 Always a lovely song to go back to - the message is sweet and loving, and definitely gives me a fuzzy feeling every time I listen to it. :P
Lulz Video of the Day :: Insane Twilight Trailer Reaction Lulz @ Dan's pants (and reaction) at the very end.
Image of the Day :: Mermaid Spells Ohmygod.
So I'm currently in typography, and this new project we've got is really cool, and gonna be pretty interesting. I have a few ideas but I don't know exactly yet, because it just depends on how it ends up on paper/monitor. The transfer from mind's image to computer monitor is always... 'fun'.
Augh, it's always so annoying when I try to pull this keyboard towards me, but then I can't really pull the mouse. They're linked/locked near the monitor and the mouse cable is not long at all. Bleh.
Okay I'm going to be a good girl and work on the project. (:

| I'm going to start trying to make a post daily, featuring my "of the Day" things. Like funnies, or music, etc. Even if it's just that.
Music Video of the Day :: m-flo loves Crystal Kay / Love Don't Cry Love Don't Cry is catchy and upbeat, and the opening itself is so addicting! "Ready set GO. Ready set GO."
Lulz Video of the Day :: Jetsons Theme Song Extended The only thing one could possibly say is... depressing.
Image of the Day :: Video Game Girl Really... I don't think I have words for this picture. Even I was slightly turned on by it. HAHA. She's not really my type though. (:

Let's say two people are accused of cheating on a test - one of them is a friend, and the other is someone you don't much care for. You were made a witness, but you really don't have any proof on any of them. Teacher wants you to say which you think is the real cheater. Which are you going back up? Your friend, right?
I know, I know, that was a pretty bad story to try and illustrate my point. Basically, a large portion of my clan on Steam has turned their backs on me because of a small misunderstanding. A misunderstanding that warped and blew up into something completely absurd.
In a game of Left 4 Dead, a few of my friends and I were trying - and epicly failing - an Expert mode campaign on No Mercy. It felt like the hundredth time restarting the finale and trying to figure out some kind of strategy to BEAT it. In my frustration, my mind wandered to cheats. Since the developer's console enables a server host/owner/admin to turn enable the cheats in the game at will, AND I had played with said cheats many, many times in random locally hosted lobbies with friends (noclipping everywhere and spawning random entities at random is great fun I tell you), it's not like I was thinking about hacks. Anyway, while I was thinking about it, I remembered a rumor I had heard before. Enabling cheats disables gaining achievements (a fair trade). I'd heard somewhere that if you enable cheat, do something (like spawn an object), then disable cheats, the action preformed would stay but achievements would be reenabled. Didn't think my teammates would know, but it wouldn't hurt to ask right?
Unfortunately, it did. My teammates were Lou, Shade, and Kirby at the time. I had asked something along the lines of, "Hey do any of you guys know if you turn cheats on but then turn them back off, do you still get achievements?" Nobody answered, and I took that as a "no I don't know" from everyone and quickly dropped it. It wasn't a vital nor important question, just a random curiosity. The rest of the game was moderately quiet; we were all pretty frustrated because we couldn't complete the finale (we ended up restarting a total of 22 times by the time we actually finished the map haha...) and the last time we tried we just went and changed the difficulty to Easy then changed it back, in hopes that we could still get the achievement. (No, we didn't.) Afterwards, we were pretty wiped out of Left 4 Dead (3hrs, 15min & 22 restarts how pro) so we all just quit out and chilled.
Some time later, maybe the next day or so, I was dealing with a lot of bullshit at my house. So I wasn't able to play very much for a while. But I was in contact with Hunter, and he was telling me about some rumors going on.
"They said you were asking Kirby how to cheat, but you 'accidentally' sent the message to Lou instead."
What? Really? Apparently so. Since then, I haven't been invited to many clan games, unless it was by Rob, or TJ. In the first game I was able to play with ANY clanmates since the rumor started, Shade mentioned something about one of the clanmates hating me. (Oh and also - of the few clanmates that were in that game, only Rob stayed. Boubley and Hersh were there, but they left for the other game that Tom had started.) I still don't know who the one that hated me was, but it's been a couple weeks since this began. Hersh has since removed me from his friendslist on Steam (and, although I've been slightly confused about it, I've yet to really care) and I haven't spoken with many of them, nor have I played with them much.
At this point in time, Hunter, Robin, TJ, Rob, and Justine are the only ones in the clan itself that have shown me any support. I don't know if TJ or Justine actually know about it entirely, but they're good friends still nonetheless. I've found myself playing with/talking to TJ, Blake, Tia (Panda - whodathunk I'd meet someone else with my best friend's name on Steam? :P), and Xion (whose name I don't know how to spell although I know it, haha... but I think it's spelled Shea) a lot more nowadays. Most of the time I'm usually playing custom maps with Aaron and Angel, and maybe an occassional Versus game (though I haven't in some time now.. >_<) otherwise I'm idling around the internet; maybe Facebook, maybe YouTube, etc.
Anyway, this wouldn't bug me so much if the clannies didn't turn their backs on me so quickly and so strong. There are a lot of people I know they hate. And no matter how convinced they are that those guys are really cheating/hacking, somehow they still end up being invited to games more than me. Honestly? That's the thing that really pisses me off about this all.
But whatever. I'm not leaving the clan (unless they kick me out) anytime soon because there are some people in and associated with the clan that I really value (such as the aforementioned above) and I think leaving the clan may sever the ties I have with them, even just a bit. Sigh. I have school to give me something to do, at least, so I don't have to spend all my time wondering what the hell I'm going to do if I don't have the clanmates to play with (not that I have been wondering that, but yknow)... Hell, it'll probably easier with them all ignoring me to focus on things. Yippee.
Here's to a better year.

| Absolutely not. I'm HALF paying attention. (:
Mostly just sitting here giggling at Robert. His fruit face is hilarious. And apparently he has double power with two yardsticks. (Yardsticks being what he slams on the table. Hahaha.)
Anyway...
I actually have a completed webpage that I did completely on my own and is really live and available for people to look at? AND IT WORKS IN FIREFOX? Indeed. It's only one page, and it's just for Steam, but whatever. Hahaha.
HERE!
Lol. It's funny.
Oh and I also did this too. While Robert was talking. I'll probably work on it more at home though, because there's a glare on the screens in this room, making it SUPER hard to see.
Free lab time. I'm going to do some of my homework before I head off. Fahhh~
